Meet at Algiers airport at 10:00 p.m. Our Oryx Voyage representative will be present to help you check in on the flight and provide you with all the necessary information.

During this meeting, our representative will give you a summary of the progress of the trip and will provide you with all the safety instructions to follow during the trip. We want to make sure that you are well informed about all the details so that you can fully enjoy your trip safely.

Day 1:

Arrival at Tamanrasset airport, transfer by 4x4. Installation in the rooms to rest after the trip.

In the morning, after having breakfast, we will leave by 4x4 towards Tassili Hoggar, starting our adventure by going deeper into the depths of Tassili. We will stop at many places to discover the cave paintings and beautiful landscapes until we arrive at "Fouts"where we will have our lunch. Then we will head to the region of"El Ghssour"where we will set up camp and spend the night.

 

Day 2:

After breakfast, we will head to one of the treasures of the Sahara,"Tin Akachaker"in the heart of Tassili Hoggar, known for its spectacular scenery of unique volcanic mountains and amazing sand dunes. We will walk around the area, admiring cave paintings that date back thousands of years. In the evening, we will have the pleasure of enjoying the sunset, one of nature's most beautiful spectacles.

The sunset is a magical moment in the Sahara. The warm colors of the sun melting into the sand create a breathtaking sight. You won't be able to resist capturing these amazing moments with your camera.

Day 3:

On the third day, you will wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. After breakfast we will leave for "Youf Ahakit", one of the most beautiful regions of Tassili. This region is famous for its natural castle formed from needle-shaped rocks, located on top of large sand dunes.

Our experienced Tuareg guides will tell you fascinating stories about the rock drawings you will see on the way. These designs were created by the nomadic peoples who have roamed this area for thousands of years, and each design tells a unique story.

After a busy day, we arrive at"Youf Aghlal"to spend a night under the stars. Our cook, Ammi Zaoui, will prepare a delicious dinner for us, which we will enjoy together around the campfire. We will then have the opportunity to drink Sahara tea and listen to the legends of Ammi Mohamed. These fascinating stories will allow you to discover the culture and traditions of the Tuaregs, and will immerse you in the mystical and bewitching atmosphere of the desert.

Day 4:

The fourth day of our trip will begin after a delicious breakfast and the dazzling spectacle of the sunrise. We will continue our exploration until we reach the village ofindelaguewhere we will have our lunch and take a break to rest from the road.

We will continue our journey to the oasis ofTonguet, famous for its rock drawings, its fresh waters and its breathtaking landscapes. We will spend the night there.

In the evening, our cook Ammi Zaoui will prepare a delicious Tuareg dinner for you, to be enjoyed under the stars and in a friendly atmosphere around the campfire. You can also take the opportunity to listen to Tuareg tales and legends, which will immerse you in the history and traditions of this fascinating region.

Day 5:

fifth day of our trip. We will go to the heights of the region ofAssekremto enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes on Earth: sunrise and sunset. This region is classified by UNESCO as one of the best places to enjoy these magical moments. It is also renowned for its breathtaking views and irresistible charm. We will spend the night in the Assekrem refuge, built in 1936, for an authentic experience of desert life. We will have the opportunity to meet a Spanish monk who lives in the hermitage of Assekrem. He will tell us the fascinating story of Father Foucaud, the founder of the town of Tamanrasset.

The sunset in this region is a unique experience that cannot be described in words, it has to be experienced to be believed.

Day 6:

For those who don't want to miss the most spectacular sunrise on the planet, we recommend getting up early and joining us.

After breakfast at the Refuge d'Assekrem, we begin our return to Tamanrasset via the picturesque oasis ofAffiliate. There we will take a break to enjoy lunch and a refreshing break.

Then we will have free time to walk around the town of Tamanrasset, visit the local souks to buy unique souvenirs.

In the evening, we will be invited to a traditional Saharan musical evening specially organized for the participants of our trip. We will have the chance to taste a special dinner of grilled mutton and traditional dishes. This evening will be exceptional, with captivating rhythms and passionate dances that will make you vibrate.

After the evening is over, we will leave for the airport with unforgettable memories of the beauty and charm of the region, the generosity and traditions of the Tuaregs. These memories will stay with us forever and change our outlook on life. This trip is an exceptional adventure, a unique and enriching experience.
